Leonardo da Vinci was an absolute Master, and incidentally, someone I believe was from a future time, especially when you consider his inventions. But I digress.
His original masterpiece The Mona Lisa (Monna Lisa or La Gioconda in Italian; La Joconde in French), is believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506, although Leonardo may have continued working on it as late as 1517.
Personally, I can’t paint to save my life, but I do know how to use Photoshop – some say extremely well – so I decided to create my own unique composite of this amazing portrait.
I’m happy with the result, well, as happy as any artist can ever truly be with their work, which is to say not overly 🙂
I’m curious as to which famous person you all think I’ve replaced the original with… feel free to leave a comment below!
No idea – but I’m curious!
It’s probably a bit hard to tell, as she didn’t have dark hair in real life. She was famous in the 1950’s as an actress, and passed away in 1982.
Grace Kelly 🙂
I love Grace Kelly, but I didn’t see it. You made her into something special and different.
Thank you 🙂 To me, Grace Kelly always symbolized elegance and grace (no pun intended), and so I thought it would be fitting to place her into the Leonardo’s painting.
I didn’t see Grace either although it looked familiar. nice job!
Thank you Laura 🙂
